Refund policy

This refund and returns policy is written for Cool Is Gadgets physical accessories sourced through AliExpress-compatible suppliers. It is designed to be clear, conservative, and protective of mandatory consumer rights. Nothing here limits non-waivable rights under your local law.

Short version

Cancellation: request cancellation as soon as possible. The default cancellation request window is 6 hours after payment unless fulfillment has already started.

Change-of-mind returns: where allowed by law, unopened and unused items in original packaging may be return-request eligible within 30 days after delivery. Customer-paid return shipping normally applies.

Problem orders: defective, damaged, incorrect, materially not-as-described, or missing items are handled separately. Contact us promptly with photos and order details so we can arrange the appropriate refund, replacement, repair, or other remedy.

Order cancellation before fulfillment

Most orders enter a processing hold after payment before supplier fulfillment begins. During that hold, we check supplier stock, freight availability, fraud signals, address details, and cancellation risk.

You can request cancellation during the processing hold. If we can stop fulfillment, we will cancel and refund the order or affected item. If supplier fulfillment or shipment has already started, cancellation is not guaranteed.

Some products or orders may use a longer hold for stock checks, fraud review, high-risk orders, expensive items, uncertain shipping routes, or categories with higher return risk.

Change-of-mind returns

Where allowed by law, Cool Is Gadgets offers a voluntary 30-day return request window after delivery for physical accessories that are unopened, unused, complete, and in the original packaging.

This voluntary policy does not apply to items that have been used, installed, worn, damaged after delivery, altered, missing parts, missing packaging, or returned without authorization, unless mandatory law requires a different result.

Customer-paid return shipping normally applies for change-of-mind returns. Original shipping fees may be non-refundable unless local law requires otherwise or we choose otherwise in a specific case.

Defective, damaged, incorrect, or not-as-described items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, materially different from the product page, missing key parts, or incorrect, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, shipping label, and issue.

Depending on the issue, destination, supplier process, and applicable law, we may offer a refund, replacement, repair, store credit, return shipment, partial refund, or keep-item resolution. For defective or incorrect goods, we do not use the unopened-return rule to deny mandatory rights.

Do not dispose of the item or packaging until we confirm the next step, because suppliers or carriers may require evidence.

Return authorization required

Contact us before sending anything back. Do not return items to the sender address, carrier address, manufacturer, or AliExpress supplier unless Cool Is Gadgets gives you written return instructions.

Unauthorized returns can be delayed, refused, lost, or ineligible for a refund if we cannot identify the order or if the item is sent to the wrong return location.

EU, UK, and other mandatory rights

EU and UK consumers may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right for many online purchases, subject to exceptions. Where that right applies, you can cancel within the statutory period and may normally be responsible for return postage for change-of-mind returns if we informed you before purchase.

Some goods may be excluded from cooling-off rights, such as customized items, sealed hygiene goods that were unsealed after delivery, quickly perishable goods, or categories excluded by applicable law.

Other countries, states, or provinces may give customers additional rights for defective goods, misdescribed goods, delayed shipment, refunds, warranties, or cancellation. If mandatory law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method where possible. Bank, card network, wallet, and payment processor timing can vary after we submit the refund.

For returns, we may wait until we receive the returned item or valid proof of return shipment before issuing a refund, unless applicable law requires a faster refund.

Abuse, fraud, and excessive returns

We may refuse, limit, or manually review return requests involving suspected fraud, abuse, altered evidence, serial returns, chargeback abuse, address misuse, or items damaged after delivery, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
